Financial Aid available for those who qualify.
California career Institute’s Financial Aid department will help you determine a tuition financing plan that works for you. Depending on the program you select, there are various options of financial aid available.
Enrollment and student services are only offered at the main campus
Federal Financial Aid
The following Title IV Financial Aid sources are available to who qualify:
- Unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loan
- Subsidized Direct Stafford Loan
Are federal student loans for eligible students to help pay for the cost of higher education at a 4-year college/university, community college, trade school, career school, or technical school.
- Federal PLUS Loan
- Direct PLUS Loan
Enables both students and parents to borrow money at low-interest rates from the federal government. These loans can be available for students. Direct PLUS Loans may be available to parents of dependent students. A Direct Stafford Loan might be subsidized or unsubsidized. Direct PLUS Loans will usually be unsubsidized.
- Federal Pell Grant
Usually awarded to students. Students’ just entering college or returning to get their degree may qualify to receive a Pell Grant.
- Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Is a grant for undergraduate students that have great financial need. Households garnering less than a certain income might qualify for a Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant.
